Resurgence

Context

Resurgence is a photographic series shaped as a return to the surface. The project follows a body reappearing through fragments: skin, synthetic matter, traces of light and physical tension.

Intention

The image moves between editorial portraiture, visual research and organic fiction. The body is not simply shown; it seems to rebuild itself inside the frame, between erasure, mutation and direct presence.

Art Direction

The art direction works with the feeling of living matter. Texture, props, styling, SFX makeup and set design extend the body rather than decorate it. The light stays precise, almost clinical, to hold the tension between beauty and strangeness.

Production

Obsession Studio led the project from visual research to set production: creative direction, photography, set design, retouching, graphic design and video edit. The series exists as a complete image, motion and identity dossier around one idea: returning, otherwise.
